Ten industry veterans found common ground to join ranks under Microchip USA with a shared goal: to share in a purpose greater than ourselves. The team at Microchip USA has supported over one hundred thousand line items and tens of millions of active components. Collectively, the team of purchasing and sourcing specialists has worked directly or indirectly with over half of the companies on the Fortune 500. Our human capital has historically focused on supporting medical & industrial projects. The industries that we have added tremendous value to encompass: process automation, telecommunications, transportation, green energy, imaging (equipment to sense, transmit, and analyze information) and more.

Our team of experts have over twenty combined years of experience finding and securing electronic components for many of the world’s largest manufacturers; we have achieved extensive success for our clients, with proven processes and techniques to help mitigate risks in the global electronics supply chain. We have saved our clients millions of dollars by preventing line-down situations. Our global connection of over one hundred suppliers allows us to find parts that Fortune 500 companies have not been able to, speaking volumes to how deep our supply chain is. We have over ten third-party testing lab connections to expedite high quality parts to our clients.

Trevor Toma

CEO

Trevor was born and raised in Tampa FL. He attended the Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa where he received a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity. As a serial entrepreneur with a background in business, technology, and cyber security, he is always thinking of new ways to improve business processes. His passion is providing sustainable job opportunities and exceptional client experience. When he is not working, he is spending time with family and friends. His hobbies include reading, chess, and outdoor activities.

Josh Arnold

COO/CFO

Josh was born in Northern Virginia; he moved to Florida to pursue a B.S. in Commercial Entrepreneurship from Florida State University where he launched his first tech start-up. Passionate for problem solving, innovation, and team building, he began his career in financial services before transitioning to supply chain. With experience leading teams, negotiating as an advocate, and love for small business, Josh strives to support mission critical manufacturing jobs while making the world a better place. In his free time, you can find him golfing, cooking, and spending time with family.

Jake Lawless

Director of Sales

Jake brings a storied background to Microchip USA. He graduated from Stockton University in Atlantic City, NJ, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and worked in the casino industry. After graduating, Jake lived in Germany, working in sales and marketing positions for two years before settling in Tampa. He has since worked with a diverse group of sales teams across multiple industries. In his free time, Jake likes to play golf, travel, and spend time with friends and family.

Kimie Koga

Director of Operations

Kimie was born in Brazil and moved to Tampa in 2013. She received a bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Driven by innovation, she strives to constantly improve operational processes and procedures. When she is not working, she enjoys food and movies, especially movies about food. Her hobbies include picking up new hobbies and not becoming any good at them, such as painting, pottery, embroidering, knitting, pattern-making, cross-stitching, playing the keyboard, crocheting, cosplaying, felting, bread-making, and sewing; she’s also learning to speak Japanese. Kimie’s ideal night is gazing at the sunset with her cat, Mu, while eating jamón 100% ibérico de bellota.

Drew Van de Motter

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Drew is the Lead IC & Semiconductor Sourcing Specialist at Microchip USA; he holds a focus in Xilinx & Altera/Intel FPGAs & Logic Devices. Drew's primary role is identifying and locating inventory for scarce ICs. He also works in a limited capacity as an Account Executive  alongside medical manufacturers and their related business units. Driven by a passion for excellence, he takes pride in the little things often overseen. In his free time, Drew enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team.

Paul Venzor

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Paul has more than a decade of experience as a leader in Sales and Account Management, working in the Electronic Component and SaaS industry. His focus on satisfying clients’ goals and creating peak outcomes has created relationships with senior executives from Fortune-500 companies worldwide. Born and raised in Texas, Paul attended Texas A&M University, and after six years in Washington, DC, he and his wife settled in Clearwater, Florida. Paul is an avid San Antonio Spurs fan; he also enjoys spending time with his dogs, and cycling.

Mitch Kogge

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Mitchell was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Health Science with a concentration of Biology and Management. Immediately after school, Mitch pursued a career as an energy consultant. The passion of working with businesses led Mitch to supporting larger companies and their electronics supply chains. Mitch has successfully supported millions of board level line-items to keep manufacturers lines up and running; he enjoys assisting OEMs and CMs with their electric component shortages. Mitch has been living in the greater Tampa Bay area for the past 7 years with his beautiful Wife and his dog Ralph.

Alex Hart

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Alex has spent the last eight years working in multiple facets of global supply chain.  He leverages his experience from a wide array of industries, including retail, aerospace defense, and B2B electronic commodities. Since 2020, Alex’s focus has been in partnering with global OEMs to prevent line down situations and keep production schedules intact. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, collecting watches, and going to numismatics shows.

Tyler Ayala

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Tyler was born and raised in the Midwest. He completed his education in South Florida, where he graduated with a BS in Business Marketing. Upon completion, he fully immersed himself in the sales/sourcing industry. From Photovoltaic Solar equipment to High End ICs and Semiconductors, he has grown his passion for helping clients solve complex problems. While working on critical projects, he prides himself in promoting collaborative work environments with high integrity.

Alivia Hart

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Alivia (Liv) became an IC & Semiconductor Specialist for Microchip USA in 2021. With a background in sales, marketing, and PR, she has a variety of skillsets to pull from when assisting clients. Her current focus is in working with global OEMs and their assembly suppliers to reduce undue exposure to the ongoing semiconductor shortage. In her spare time, you can expect to see Liv spending time with her husband, two boys, and Aussie doodle.

Dylan Anderson

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Dylan was raised in Florida, growing up with a love for camping, guitar and sci-fi. He is pursuing a degree in computer science, while always holding a fascination with the future of electronics. Now an IC sourcing specialist, he plays an integral role in the progression of new and developing technologies. He works with mostly medical and industrial companies to support critical projects and ease pressures on their supply chain. When he is not working, he is spending time with friends and family.

Michael Kletchka

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Mike was born in New York and grew up in Tampa FL. He spent most of my childhood life out at the beach or on the field. In 2018, he graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelors in Communications. He is driven by the opportunities to learn and help contribute to the growth of the world economy. An avid sports fan, you can find him on the weekends at the Rays, Lightning, or at Buccaneers games. He also loves spending time traveling with family, friends, and dog Mamba.

Joe Van De Car

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Joe is new to the Tampa area after living in the frigid cold of Chicago. Born and Raised in Orange County California, he spent most of his free time in the water. Joe completed his education in Southern Illinois with a degree in Business Administration. With five years of technology experience, he scaled through the telecommunications industry, gaining advanced knowledge on communication technologies. His driving force comes from helping others find their way out of critical issues through collaboration and education. He enjoys surfing, travel, comedy, and quality time with those that matter most.

Danny Hill

IC & Semiconductor Specialist

Danny graduated from UF with a degree in Accounting. He brings entrepreneurial sales, marketing, and sourcing experience to the team at Microchip USA. When he is assisting clients, his focus is on providing supply chain support across a wide range of projects. When he is not working, he enjoys golfing, hockey, and spending time with friends and family.

Mara Gentile

Order Processing Specialist

Mara is one of our newer team members. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She recently graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in Marketing. Her current role is an Order Processing Specialist. In her free time, she participates in a variety of hobbies to keep her busy. Her pastimes are practicing yoga, reading philosophy, and mixing music.
