Accelerometer with Embedded State Machines

The LIS3DSHTR is a high-performance, ultra-low-power, 3-axis linear accelerometer integrated with two embedded finite-state machines. These programmable blocks enable users to create customized motion-detection applications with enhanced flexibility, operating autonomously to reduce the microprocessor’s workload by internalizing the programming functionality within the sensor. Each finite-state machine can be independently programmed for motion detection, offering 16 states for data storage.
